I'm going to Berkeley tomorrow and the only American money I have is the five dollars Kali gave me for eating that packet of mayonnaise!
It’s a sorry situation indeed. Also sorry: how I gotta get up in less than six hours and have yet to start packing. Also have yet to locate my phone charger after it’s spent five months floating around in that filth hole I call a room.
But the thing is, I can’t stop searching for apartments in New York on Craigslist. It’s like a horrifically gory car crash that you can’t force yourself to look away from. Latest gore tidbit: a $1700 a month studio wherein they try to pass off a sink, a microwave, and a minifridge as a kitchen. No no no no NO!
Whew, okay, calming breaths. Let’s look at a couple pictures.
It’s a sign in a tube station in London! Which I found hilarious but Duncan just looked at me like a crazy. I thought it was especially funny how it wasn’t in like, a dark, secluded corner or anything, just a busy stairway.
This is the Grand Canal at night! It’s blue. I have been struck by another wave of sudden-onset exhaustion so I’m gonna cut this one short. Later!
