I'm in class, trying to block out the teacher's yelling! Yaay!
Also, I had another aughghghghg moment when he taught us that putting models in a hierarchy was the same thing as inverse kinematics, AND that it’s called “inverse kimatics.” Aughghghghgh. Also a few weeks ago he called SIGGRAPH “see-graph” and he keeps saying things like “vertexes”
In other news, it’s Passover! Which, if you already don’t eat meat, means you can eat… grass. But it is over in less than twenty-four hours! I am so excited! But until then I am so hongry. I’m gonna eat four french toasts and three five guyses tomorrow for dinner. Over the weekend I had a dream about In-n-Out and then I woke up with the biggest craving for In-n-Out and I was like, go to your happy place! Go to your happy place! But what do you do when your happy place IS an In-n-Out? Conundrum!
To distract ourselves from the Passover, Mom and I got fish pedicures on Sunday!
Those fish are eating our gross dead foot skin! Yessss. Val got all disgusted when I told her about it, and then I reminded her that she eats shrimp, which is just as gross. And then she was like, but shrimp are delicious. And then I was like, you know what shrimp eat? Fish poop.
Maaaan it tickled so badly. I couldn’t stop laughing and it was really embarrassing. It makes my feet tickle just to look at this picture. I wanted to put my feet on the bottom of the tank to get them to stop tickling me there, but the guy running the place said not to because I might squish them. I kept worrying I was going to see dead fish floating at the top of the tank because I squished them with my toes, but it got better eventually. I still couldn’t look down at the tank very often because they’d poke their faces out of the top of the water and open and close their mouths at me and then I wouldn’t be able to stop laughing again.
In other news, I had my first fried oreos last week! I always thought they’d be gross and taste like fried greasiness, but they’re delicious! You don’t taste the fried part at all and it makes the oreo cookies all soft and it makes the cream all melty and mmmmm breeeead. Eric and I really want to try making this recipe for homemade oreos and hopefully we could make them all soft and melty without having to fry them.
Also, the guy eating the fried oreo is named David and he’s a friend of my friend Jon. They both work for Google on YouTube, and David was visiting New York so Jon suggested we hang out and it was really fun!
And finally:
It’s my parents from when they visited a few weeks ago! That’s not how they smile, they’re just making the same face as the statue in case you didn’t look that high up in the picture. Awesome!
