Look at this awesome thing my brother did!
David’s blog entry about my family’s visit is so amazing! Plus it has a link to his awesome flickr pictures. The internet (or t’internet, if you will) is closing in a couple minutes, so I’m just gonna talk about a couple pictures so’s I can stick to my blog entry a day resolution. Also, tomorrow I gotta remember to talk about this creepy thing that happened today. It involves a stranger saying some creepy to the max things about my feet. Ick ick ick. Okay, let’s forget about all that creepiness with some wholesome, awesome pictures!
Err, apparently I don’t know how to stop adding pictures to a post once I’ve started. Hrm.
My mom being cute and David being weird! Awesome. Holding up the business cards for Sukur, which is a fancypants restaurant where we got dinner and it was awesome and I want to go back there someday maybe before I leave and now the internet is closing because I captioned these backwards so I gotta go! Later, enjoy the rest of the freaky little captions!
My dad! I love this picture but he’ll probably hate it because he hates every picture we take of him. But doesn’t he look so happy! Ah love eet. This was at breakfast on the day we went to the Miró museum, I think. Maaan what an awesome museum. I thought Miró just did squiggles, and granted some of the paintings were literally just a single squiggly line and it was ridiculous, but most of them were really complicated and made me very happy to look at! That is bad English but I do not care, ha. And Miró is one of my dad’s favorite artists, so that was really neat.
Some flowers from this amaaaazing place where we got breakfast on Las Ramblas called Antigua Casa Figuera, I think. Know what I had? Oh you may as well give up, you’ll never guess a potato omelette and a hot chocolate. Har de dooo doo!
Umm, some corrugated steel? Or copper or something, I don’t know. Look, colors! Ooo.
Umm, I’m basically in love with this and I don’t care if everone else hates it. It looks like one of those allergens that are always being used in commercial dramatizations of why you need to buy an ionic air filtration system or something. It’s really the rose window of the Santa Maria del Mar cathedral. Neat.
La Sagrada Familia! Can’t tell if I hate this picture but I think I like it. One of these days I gotta wait in the two-hour line to go to the top of it. I bet I can drag Rachana into it, yessss…
A pigeon in a cage that you can buy at one of the many pet stalls on Las Ramblas with which PETA would have a field day! Because really, who wouldn’t want a pigeon for a pet! It would really help you achieve that Poop-Chic look you’ve been going for in your apartment.
Ha ha, Jovanna’s in Morocco until Sunday so she can’t tell me to take this picture down until then! But honestly I think it’s a great picture so I’ll be sad if she thinks it’s bad for some reason. This level of happiness is, in fact, her resting emotion. This was taken at this awful, awful Irish bar that we went to with David on Friday after we went to the awesome but packed palomitas bar that David talks about in his blog. Did I mention how awesome his blog is? Go there!

Going to the top of churches is totally my thang. Also, I realize these comments are coming like 3289038904 days late but I finally got the interwebs in my room. Hurray!
