Picture Explosion Part Six
Hey look, more pictures! Will they ever end? No! Definitely not! Makes me kind of sick to think about how many are left, not to mention how many I’ve been taking since I started trying to deal with all of these.
This is for David! When I started telling him about all of the crazy British words Duncan is teaching me, he asked if I’d heard of “happy slappy,” which he’d heard is when a British person runs up to a stranger and hits them and one of their friends films it. So we were like, ha ha, the British are crazy but that still can’t be true. But no, it is. Hahahahahahaha! But one time someone got happyslapped so hard they died, and that’s sad.
Awww, look how special. This marks the beginning of a bunch of pictures I took off of Kali’s camera. They’re pretty much all of me because taking her actual pictures of castles and things felt like ripping her off and plus I had basically the exact same pictures on my camera anyway. This one is from when we were biking around the Aran Islands and I was too lazy to carry my helmet when we went up to look at the largest crescent-shaped fort in the worrrrld so I just wore it and then got all confused when people looked at me funny and it was dumb. I’m being scared because it’s a sheer drop to certain doom hundreds of feet below. At least my head was protected?
Hur hur hurr. It was too hot to wear the huge coat that Duncan had loaned me and I didn’t have a backpack and I didn’t want it getting messed up by the bike so I tied it around my neck. Then Kali magnanimously took a picture so I could cherish the memory of how attractive I looked forever!
More weighing up the packet of mayonnaise vs. five whole dollars issue.
IT TASTES LIKE SOMEONE VOMITED IN MY MOUTH.
Right after Kali had said I couldn’t have water until I finished. Aughghghghgh, the memory still makes me gag.
Us in a genuine Irish pub listening to a genuine Irish band! With a picture of a flute player over us, which is neat because we both play the flute!
Posing spazmodically behind the tomb statue thing.
Sigh I feel like someday I’m going to regret putting these pictures online.
Kali wanted to make it look like we were standing in front of the cliffs but I’m not so sure that we pulled off the effect.
Us actually standing in front of the cliffs. Oh Kali I miss you! She said it looks like I don’t want to be with her in this picture, but that’s just because I got hair in my mouth as the guy was taking it. Gross.
After this was taken Kali said something that was nice in a mean way. Like that she couldn’t understand how any guy would be attracted to me because I’m always making ugly faces even though I’m pretty or something? I don’t know, it’s been like three years since this picture was taken.
It was windy and cold and my hair was blowing every which way, yep.
Star Wharf! Because it sounds like Star Wars! Hur de dur durrr!
Some bricks on the vet college where Duncan went to school and now works next door to. Neat!
A building near Duncan’s apartment with the sun setting on it. Yep.
This is a tube station! That first poster is for an exhibit at the British Museum about the Terracotta Army that Duncan and I went to and it was suuuuper interesting. Learning!
Now this is in Spain. These are the weirdly-shaped cliffs of Montserrat, where Jovanna and I went to see their monastery and weirdly-shaped cliffs.
Nur, internet’s closing in cinco minutos. Laterrrr.
