New awesome site!
Yaay, David updated the site and it looks so freaking awesome. Thanks, David! Best brother evar.
Tomorrow morning we’re going to camp on Fraser Island for three days, where there are DINGOES! Everywhere! Like, you have to go pee with a partner in case you get attacked by a dingo! I am so excited.
Enough of the talky talky, let’s get to the pictures!
This is a koala that we got to pet! It felt exactly like a fuzzy stuffed animal. I think the kangaroos were softer and nicer feeling, though. Also, they have two thumbs! How awesome.
A kangaroo! That we got to hand-feed. It tickles. Also featured: its joey! Run away, little joey! Right into my pocket.
The creeeeepy mural from the hostel in Port Maquarie. Seriously, why would you paint that in your already-creepy-isolated-town hostel? Obviously to keep me from sleeping that night.
The Sydney Opera House! I’m a little bit obsessed with it.
This is from the Sydney Royal Botanic Garden. I don’t know, I just like it.
Some eucalyptus trees! That’s when you know you’re really in Australia. The guy running the creepy hostel said there are wild koalas living in these trees, but we’re pretty sure he was talking it up to the max.
This is the sunset in Byron Bay, which is a huge hippie town. You know it’s a hippie town because every day at sundown, a drum circle gathers on the beach and drums the sun down. Haha, oh hippies! The only sad part about Byron Bay is that everyone wants a piece of the hippie action so real estate rates and hostel prices are freaking aspensive.
A lizard! How neat.
Yep, those are the pictures, folks! Internet’s running out so I better go. Later!
